The 4th Festivities...

The Highlight of my Fourth of July Weekend was going to Stadium of Fire and watching the Osmond 2nd Generation perform...just kidding. watching the talented, beautiful, Carrie Underwood perform! It was amazing. My friend Kari and I scouted out better seats that no one was in, before Carrie performed. Got some good pics!

Carrie surprised everyone and came out singing the National Anthem. The next picture is "The Rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air." Was a little slow getting the planes over head, but they're there!

check out this shot! Look close and she is in the middle...behind well, herself.

I cannot believe for the past 26 years I have missed this amazing event. My heart burned with the spirit. The tribute to all of our armed forces was neat. I had never been SO proud to be an American. It's so great to come together as a country and celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and take for granted at times. The fireworks were freakin spectacular. Patriotic music was playing in the background. The little dancers formed the shape of the United States. One little mishap- fireworks landed on the "floor" seats, up by the stage. Hopefully no one was hurt. I knew there was a reason as to why I couldn't book the floor seating! haha!

I freakin' love Stadium of Fire! It's true that the patriotic spirit burns so strong that night! That's my favorite fireworks show ever. I'm glad you got to experience it! I'm too old to dance in it now, even though I look like I'm 12. :-)
